KIPP Austin Public Schools believes that there are no shortcuts to academic success.
 
Our students commit to come to school from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the week. They also come to school on Saturdays throughout the year and participate in a summer orientation in preparation for college. KIPP Austin students spend 67% more time learning than their counterparts in traditional public schools.
 
At the time of enrollment, all parents, students, and teachers sign the Commitment to Excellence form, pledging to adhere to our school’s expectations for attendance, academic rigor, behavior, and extra time.
